Just read my google review that kind of gets the point across.
It was almost impossible to be able to talk to anybody about what is going on. It took 16 days and I still do not know what happened. I tried to call the service manager 3 times and left messages but never got a call back.
Whitney did a great job. I appreciate all her efforts to ensure my vehicle was taken care of in a timely manner. The service was great!
To whom it may concern:
Service advisor Pam went above and beyond, enabling my rental car in a non-standard way from a vendor in an alternate location. She provided exceptional customer service!
The transmission shudder seems to be fixed and the diagnosis and triple flush has removed any traces of the shudder condition. I am so far very satisfied with this work.
Finally, the window leak. As of the time of this communication I have not yet tried to wash the car to verify the leak is gone, but the driver's side door panel R&R was shoddy work at best. The car was delivered to me with a loose inner door handle that rattled back and forth and left significant play (1/8"-1/4") when pulling the door handle to close the door. I noticed something was a little different when leaving the dealership, but after arriving home and opening/closing the door a few times I was certain that there was an issue. Upon removing the door panel myself to diagnose the condition I found that the bolt behind the door opening button was free spinning, leading to the extra play since it was not tight. Trying to tighten it myself was futile - it would not get any tighter. It also would not loosen. This implied to me that whatever the bolt screwed into had come loose. I grabbed some very long needle nose pliers and used them to pull slightly while turning to apply some pressure to whatever the bolt was threaded into. This allowed unscrewing and removal of the fastener, after which I could take the door panel off. I found that the problematic fastener had threaded into a circular aluminum insert (Rivnut or similar) which went through the inner fiberglass surface of the door. This rivnut was loose and spun in the door with significant in/out play as well (1/32" or so). As there was one more of these installed in the door (with zero play) I could compare them. The loose one was of a different style than the other, which had a hex-shaped outerside flange presumably to keep it from spinning in the door once compressed to install it. I ended up gluing the loose rivnut into the door to keep it from spinning, which allowed me to be successful in reassembling the door without any play - however I suspect on subsequent door panel R&R it could come loose again, causing the issue to reoccur.
What I think the tech did is as follows - try to take door panel off WITHOUT removing the bolt under the inner door release button. I think that the tech then pulled the old insert from the door along with the door panel (since the bolt had NOT been removed). When trying to fix this issue they then used the WRONG part for the job - the rivnut instead of the OEM hex headed insert. Once they reassembled the door it would have been OBVIOUS that the fastener was NOT able to be tightened. They pushed the car out the door anyway, hoping that I wouldn't notice..... since fixing it would take significant time (drilling out the old insert, sourcing the new one, installing etc.) and they would lose money on the deal.
While satisfied with all other aspects of the service experience, I find the window leak repair unacceptable. The tech was lazy and pushed shoddy work out of the door to get it off of their plate. If they are cutting corners here, where else are they cutting corners?

Andrew Weil

So satisfied with the friendly and courteous service that Pam provided. Thank you! I’d recommend JJ Chevy to all my friends.
Travis treated me like family!
Travis is simply exceptional!!! He is always so throughout when he describes the issue and always accommodates us too.
I’m unaware if on the day I went was considered a Busy day, or if the staff are overwhelmed with tasks, however by bringing my car in for service I felt that I was putting her out from doing her job... possibly like I was bothering her by needing assistance. That isn’t a response I would expect from a service representative. I waiting for two people to finish speaking to each other, before they offered me assistance. I then checked in on the length of time remaining after an hour and a half and was again treated with shortness. Upon completion of service, I had to ask about the status of the work completed. Nothing was offered. We all have bad days, and it’s not my intent for anyone to be in trouble, however a friend attitude goes a long way with making customers feel welcome and appreciated. Customer service is the front line and it is the most important role of any organization.
I've had my Chevy cruze for four years. I've had mostly all of my services done at Jimmie johnson and I've always been 100% satisfied with the work they do.
Prompt and courteous. Assisted with setting up another appointment that required special parts
Derek is always great to work with.
I’m completely satisfied with my visit to the dealership today, I was glad that my car didn’t had any issues since I took it for an inspection and an oil change everything came out just perfect. I also want to mention that Whitney R. is always so kind and helpful. The dealership should be proud to have her on the team, I felt will taken care of with today’s visit so I’ll definitely will keep on going to Jimmie Johnson’s for any service my vehicle will need.
My car was done when promised and the price was what they quoted. Thank you!
And Liana Gorney represented Jimmy Johnson Chevrolet in an outstanding manner. She took excellent care of me.
