I can not lay all this on Mr. Holtzclaw, but my experience was NOT excellent. I made an appointment for 35,000-mile service. When making the appointment, I believed it was the last of the prepaid maintenance service from when I bought the vehicle. Unsure if that was the A or B option, I stated in the comments "prepaid 35,000 service" rather than checking the wrong box. The appointment confirmation directed me to Ron James. Mr. James met me when I arrived for the appointment. When he did my check-in I learned the previous service was the last of the prepaid. He told me I could do just the oil change (an email quoted $34.95) or with the coupon, I could get the oil change and tire rotation for $44.99. I chose the second option and signed a form that showed the quote to be $45.00. Mr. James also told me Mr. Holtzclaw would be doing my check-out. TWO HOURS later Mr. Holtzclaw called me for check-out. After review of the multi-point inspection, I was told the bill was $79.85. I told him I had been quoted $45.00 (the form I signed was right in front of him). He said with the hand-off, he didn't know about applying the coupon. He did some typing and came back that with tax it came up to $49.95 which I paid. After arriving home I found my paperwork stated the original quote to be $50, which it certainly was not and the form I signed was not included. SO after waiting for two hours for an oil change and tire rotation, a "bait and switch" on the cost from $45 to $79.85 to $49.95 I certainly would not rate this experience as excellent.
