Was told getting new tire would take 45 minutes. Car was not ready until 1.5 hours. The cashiers took an additional 10 minutes to figure out how to ring it up. Got in car and mats were not put back and errors were still showing up on dash. The technician didn't know how to fix errors and had to get another tech to assist. Would not have been a big deal but I was given the impression over the phone that I would be in and out. I missed 2+ hours of work. I would have planned differently if i knew it would take that long.

I don’t expect for someone to come handle registering me for express service quickly when there are many cars, however, I drove up and cars were chaos and people were intentionally avoiding eye contact. A simple wave to acknowledge I was in the right spot would be great so that I can wait without being confused. Secondly, I had my entire service done and no one explained anything on my vehicle. I usually get a stop by the tech to let me know what is yellow or red but this time, nothing. I came before some others and ones who came after me were finished. I didn’t want a car wash. If I’m waiting with children in the waiting area, there’s a reason I didn’t ask for one. I got a text only after I picked up my car and 1.5 hours later that Honda has not forgotten about me and my vehicle was in process. Perhaps figure out a process for customers when you’re busy- how to handle a line, how to keep the customers up to date (you already have a text service, use it or designate a person who isn’t busy to follow up so that after 1.5 hours and others leaving after you arrive, you’ll know what’s going on), let the customer know what recommendations you have for the vehicle so I can ask when it needs to be changed. A non issue but WiFi. I’ve had guest WiFi before. I don’t mind a wait but I mind not being updated. I brought my laptop to work and pass time. No WiFi access. I asked one of the girls that there is usually WiFi and she seemed as if my question irritated her. Your WiFi was out. Make sure you have WiFi username and password printed and posted where you can visibly see. There were no guest networks this time as it was in the past. Trust me, customers would much rather have working WiFi than popcorn in the waiting room. My experience here today was a fail. My car was just pushed in and out of your service. I was never updated about my waiting time or why my car went to be washed and I didn’t want one. It actually was still dirty when i received it so that was frustrating. A little acknowledgement goes a long way. A nod, a text using your established text service, and communication would make someone waiting almost 2 hours not mind the wait. And please fix your WiFi. If you don’t want to provide access, that’s fine, but you had it before. Post it or ask your front desk to actually know the network and let her know who to contact when it is down so customers can have something to do while waiting.

Jose was great. He let us know exactly what needed to be done to the car and gave us a very accurate wait time. We walked next door to eat and he called when the car was ready. It was a very seemless transaction and we appreciated how nice he was. Zero complaints, thank you Jose!

I got my car back and in the passenger seat there was a very large, very noticeable black smudge. I have no idea how it got there and I had to get soap and water and clean myself after I got home. I also had a rag that I used for spills in the car and general hand cleaning, that was missing...I hope that was the only thing...not happy with what happened today, if I can’t trust them with a simple service like an oil change, not sure if I will continue to give them my business when I need to upgrade my car. Which will be soon.

I appreciate Joshua, my service advisor and the honesty and integrity of your dealership. I had a lot of work done at this mileage to prepare for a long trip, and I deeply appreciate the integrity of a dealership who will find the expensive part they installed a year ago defective. And replace easily under the warranty and not let me set off on my long solo roadtrip. Thank You Joshua and Honda Cars of Katy. Very impressive.
