We just leased a Pilot. We had it in for a scratch that needed to be fixed. Service said it needed to be painted and sales wanted it buffed. It is now going back in for the scratche to be painted and they will have to put the simonizing back on the door again. That is our only negative that there was so much confusion for something that still has to be done.

Lisa was very helpful and did a good job of listening and understanding our concerns, and then trying her best to make us happy. I feel like she was the one bright spot of our visit. My wife dropped her vehicle off at 9am Friday for an Oil Change and Inspection and stated that she needed it by 2:30pm, more than enough time. Someone contacted her during the day to say she had a nail in her tire and a patch would work($40). No problem. At 2:30 my wife called me saying that she hasn’t heard from anyone at the dealership yet. I called and was told that it wasn’t done yet but would only be a little while longer. Not sure why 5 1/2 hrs wasn’t enough time for such a simple service. When we arrived Lisa apologized and said that she spoke with her manager and that the tire patch would be covered. We were happy with that, thank you. She went over all the paperwork and showed what was checked tire tread, brake pad life, and battery life which all were shown in very good condition on the report. On Monday, my wife goes over to the Gideon Putnam hotel to drop off a few things for a large conference her work is having there for the next couple days, she leaves her flashers on only, comes back out and her car won’t start. She calls me, and I have to go over there and give her a jumpstart. We bring the car to the dealership immediately and the battery now tests as bad. I don’t believe it was ever tested on Friday like it was supposed to have been or we would have replaced it then and all of this could have been avoided. Quite an embarrassing moment for my wife as I’m jumpstarting her car right in front of the Gideon while coworkers are coming in and asking what’s the matter. Fortunately I had the day from work and was even able to shoot over there and take care of it. Lisa apologizes again, and does a good job of being understanding of our frustration here. She says “let me ask my manager what we can do” she comes back a little while later and says we are all set. Her manager approved that we would split the cost of a new battery. $80 cost to us, and we get the warranty. I thought, after all the trouble we had gone through between Friday and Monday, that “the manager” I guess his name is Nick, would have at least come speak to my wife and I. I’m not the type of person that ever asks for anything for free, so for him to take care of the tire patch on Friday, and 1/2 the cost of the battery on Monday was very much appreciated but in my opinion, that conversation should have come from Nick, not Lisa. Again, I will say that what you did to make up for the sub par service was appreciated, and Lisa did a great job of handling it.
