I took my vehicle to Ford of Upland because I purchased the vehicle from that dealership number one, and number two because I was satisfied with the service on my previous visit. This time however was different. Kim Hawkins did a nice job of getting me arranged and working at the details of my service that I requested, which was to change out my low beam headlights in my 14 Ford Fusion. The job took 4 HOURS, AND $80. When I left the dealership it was still daylight and therefore I was unable to see if the job was done properly. At night, once I turned on my headlights, I seen that it was NOT DONE correctly. My left headlight is completely crooked. I don't understand how this could have happened after 4 HOURS of service time. Maybe you can help me understand this?? I considered taking the car back early next week to get it rectified, but I think instead I'll just ask for my money back. I don't expect any hassle from this request. I drove about 40 minutes west of where I live, just to take my car to this dealership, so I'm sure you can understand how this has been a TREMENDOUS WASTE OF TIME for me. I expect a full refund as soon as possible.

I was told by another dealer that they did not have the needed parts and had no idea when they would receive them. I called Upland and made an appointment for 2 days later. The work was completed before expected. From the receptionist on the phone to Kim ( service advisor) and all service dept personnel that I came in contact with, I was treated with respect and courtesy.

Asked please for the truck to be test-driven after the repair was completed. Everyone is so busy there do no one had time. The problem continued immediately after driving off of the lot - downshifts to 1 directly from 6 then back up to 6 again. Terrible problem. Please somebody pay attention to my messages reporting this after I departed. Thank you. John B

Custom wiring for ham radio and mirror was disturbed even after I cautioned The service advisor to be aware of the custom wiring for the radio AND the mirror cam which was also disturbed. Additionally I spacifically asked the service advisor if the glove box needed to be opened to facilitate the air bag repair. The answer from Kim W. Was, no don’t worry about that the only need to Bork on the dashboard. Well that was not the case, it turned out the glove box DID need to be opened which disturbed the custom worrying there and left items from the box strewn on the floor. Finally the fast rack transponder was removed from the windshield and no one told me about that nor was I informed of it’s location (it was not replaces) There were other items ( charging cables etc ) that were unplugged Ann put into the center console which further disturbed the wiring configuring for the mirror cam. All this and more was done even after I hah communicated to two upland ford personnel to NOTIFY ME IF ANY OF THE WIRING NEEDED TO BE TOUCHED OR MOVED
