Miguel was great! I had a flat tire on my way out of town, and he got it replaced for me shortly before closing time on Saturday afternoon. I usually get my service at the Volvo dealership in Silver Spring, where I bought my car, but I’m now considering moving to Lindsay.
I think there was confusion from the technician on what the problem was. That's fine, but I didn't like how I was told that I would be responsible for the time he took when the problem we originally identified ended up being the issue. That part wasn't ok with me. It had me wishing I had taken the car somewhere else. The cost could increase thousands of dollars while they are exploring and investigating through infinity. And the service person seemed very comfortable with that idea. I felt pretty stuck once i was informed that the infinite investigation started. Thank God they figured it out after an entire day. I just dont get how it was so hard. You can call any volvo shop and even Google the problem and bam...its right there.
Also, I had to keep calling to get updates.i specifically asked that I get a call at work but when I get to my cell phone after work, there are missed calls from volvo. And I guess only the person assigned to your car has the details? Seems like it should be noted in the system. Idk, the whole experience was weird. Had good service last time but this was not good.
