The only request is the last two times I have been there the mechanic has used dirty hands on my car. My recommendation would be when they finish they wipe it down. Last time it was the outside and this time it was the inside of my door. Jennifer did a great job!

Visited Lindsey Chevrolet after having to travel to Woodbridge on other business. My passenger side front window is not working so I needed an estimate to repair. I left my Silverado (which by the way I purchased at Lindsey Chevrolet) in the service lane. I waited patiently for over an hour and a service department gentleman came out to apologize saying he was sorry it was taking so long and he had not forgotten me. He later returned to say they were trying to get the price for the part to fix the window. Later he returned with about 3-4 pages of recommended services based on problems found and regular maintenance items. I said that looks to be $5000.00 in recommended work and he said yes at least. I told him I would not be making all those repairs. I found it interesting your staff could come up with the prices on $5000.00 in work I wasn’t even considering when I stopped by to get my window working properly. The gentleman said he was still having trouble getting the part price and he left again. After a few more minutes I returned to the service desk and asked for vehicle to be returned so I could leave. After waiting around the female service member I first encountered when I arrived for service came out to tell me the cost to repair the master window door switch was over $400 dollars and the switch was $98.00 and the rest was labor. I declined and she gave me a copy of the things we discussed. While still waiting to get my truck back I went over the parts department and purchased the part for $83.00 in just a few minutes so I am having trouble believing it took your service staff such a long time to accomplish what I did in a matter of minutes. While paying for the part Ms. Cole returned my keys to me at the cashier. She apologized for having to wait so long and offered for me to talk to the mechanic about all the extensive list of needed repairs. I again said no thank you. I thought to my self that my truck isn’t worth much more than $5000.00. You know you can put yourself in my position and how would you not feel that the window repair was not being taken seriously but trying to list $5000.00 in work was more important. I have written a letter of recommendation in the past to recognize your service staff and department you may still have it from over in the old service dept located on the front side of the dealership. I am very disappointed in the way things were handled today. I will be taking the part to my own mechanic in Manassas for repair Friday. I used to come to woodbridge just to give you my service business even though I live in Manassas I doubt very seriously I will be making a special trip to Lindsey again. The service Mr. Gonzalez provided was excellent. I was greeted right when I came in the service entrance, which dosent happen often. I was informed of a recall I wasn’t aware of on my vehicle and I appreciate that he caught that. Overall I am very satisfied with the service Mr. Gonzalez provided.
