As usual Pete takes care of me
We had an appt for oil change only for 10am. My son brought the car in and was. checked-in before 10am, and it was over 2 hours wait. If we didn’t have an appt and if we had walked in then I could understand. We have had the Jetta services there before. It doesn’t take 2 hours for one oil change. It was frustrating to wait so long when we had an appt for a routine service.
Service updates with better communication would be nice. I had to call 3 times to get a projected estimated day of completion, but service otherwise was great. Would recommend.
Your Service Consultants are the best! Very attentive and friendly. Explain all service completed and even help set up my service for my other VW in a week or so. Thanks Lindsay VW!

Service manager made me feel unwelcome. He asked me if Alexandria VW sent me to get the 5k check.
Then told me software updates would need to be scheduled at another time which confused me since the invitation email I received specifically referenced this. Was told the check would take 45 minutes, and it was over two hours. After it was over there was very little feedback on what was done/observed.
Brought the car in Thursday when the part came in and they didn’t order all the parts they said they would overnight the part. Friday ,Saturday and Monday no parts finally came in on Tuesday and was done in the evening.
Walked in without an appointment and they were able to quickly get me in and handle my needs.
From making the appointment to their estimate of how long it would take and how clean my car was at the end. Excellent first experience with the service department at Lindsay!!
