This has been, by far, one of the best experiences I’ve had at McGrath Honda of St. Charles thanks to David. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change last Friday just about an hour before closing time. At no time did I feel rushed in any way, considering everyone wants to go home at the end of their shift for the day. David thoroughly explained exactly what was being done on my vehicle prior to it going in for service and also confirmed same after the work was completed. He also explained what services were recommended for my vehicle based on the mileage and gave me a rough estimate.

Everything was fine with my advisor Carlton & I was satisfied with his assistance for my vehicle. My issue was only after the car wash, 3 of the four windows were cracked open a bit when I got into my vehicle & water was dripping down the inside windows, seat & floor to the interior of car which I had to wipe down when I got home and it was in the 30’s. The windows were closed when I dropped it off except for the drivers side since the key was left in the car for service. I had new tires put on. I let Carlton know & he said he spoke to appropriate management to let them know the issue. Carlton did a nice job though so my review is not a reflection on him personally.

I was at the dealership on Thursday 12/28 for a recall notice and also had one other issue that needed to be taken care of (front passenger side bumper sensor replacement) as noted when I made the appointment. I was told to return Fri morning for the sensor replacement since the part had to be ordered from the warehouse. Quentan ordered the part Thursday afternoon and said it would be there Friday morning when I expected to arrive between 930 and 10 AM. I arrived at 10am & waited in the waiting area for approximately one hour before Quentan notified me that the part had not been delivered overnight from the warehouse. I was disappointed that I had waited a full hour with no update, and also did not receive a phone call on Friday morning letting me know that the part had not been delivered which would have saved me the trip. I live approximately 40 minutes away and have decided to keep my service appointments with the Saint Charles dealership even though there are closer Honda dealerships to where I live in Hoffman Estates. I was very disappointed that I did not receive a phone call or any sort of update prior to waiting for the full hour. I am still waiting to hear when the part has been delivered so I can come back in and get it taken care of. I am frustrated because of the mileage and time wasted on Friday and will have to clear my schedule & make another trip back to take care of what should have been handled Friday. Thank you.
David is great asset, your service deparment in general lacks commnication. Needed to wait 2 hours for a drive - with an appointment!
Erin was professional and talked through all the options and worked to get the best price. One thing which is not on Erin The video never came through for me to see before agreeing to the service
