I am DELIGHTED with the service manager. She stepped up and took care of the actual problem I came in with. Disappointed that when I initially addressed the issue, my service advisor “appeared” to be understanding, however wrote the problem up as something else entirely. When he returned calls he said he spoke to the mngr, but even if he did? The actual issue was not addressed. Thank gawd for the AMAZING service manager, Anna, who took care of the actual issue at hand so professionally I could have hugged her! The fact I had to bring my retired service manager Dad with me to actually have it taken care of? But being non-emotional she almost brought a tear to my eye. The car never should have been sold as “passed our 120 pt inspection” with bad piston rings. Sales dept needs a MAJOR overhaul, but service manager?? Has given me a little bit of faith that I will be taken care of properly from now on. She KNOWS the business and how to do it right!! MASSIVE respect for her and feel the departmental issue will be handled well internally. HOPING the car comes back in safe enough shape for my upcoming 2200 mile drive, but having actual trust, as difficult as it may be for me? Is a HUGE WIN!! Employee of the decade for her role and she will go incredibly far in this industry. THANK YOU ANNA! For giving me faith that the issue I initially addressed was noticed & being taken care of. Give that woman a raise because she just saved a return client!

Went in for a recall service and to address CEL. After reading the code, I was fairly certain it was covered under extended warranty p29929. I told this to Dan when I dropped off the car. And also when the mechanic determined the car needed a new low pressure fuel sensor for ~$600 I was told it was not covered under the warranty, and that repairs needed to be made to my door after finding a broken piece during the latch recall service. I was not expecting the extra 300 charge for a part that was working fine until the recall service. I also asked Dan to double check the quality bulletin p29929 and that I would take care of the sensor if Volvo would not cover it. After being told again that it was not covered, I decided to call Volvo support before buying the part. Within 2 minutes they were able to confirm my cars eligibility. Called Dan back with this info, he said they would honor the warranty and knock 10% off door repair. Not happy, but fine…when I went to pick up the car I was given a bill for ~650, 350 more than I was expecting for the door repair. Turns out there was some covered charges that were left on the bill…Dan was able to fix right away after I pointed this out..I will not be being my car back for service here.

Dan was very good at making the experience very smooth and had great customer service. There’s not a lot of people with as great customer service as him, I felt so welcomed and the time went by so quickly chatting with him, which is not usually the case while waiting for a car service to be finished. Someone give this man a raise, he deserves it just based on his customer service skills haha

My first time at McGrath Volvo and the service was definitely a star 5 rating. Dan was right on top of everything and keeping in touch on the progress and what needed to be done. I was given a loaner which is a big plus. This will be be the Volvo dealer I will be going to for service for now on. Dan Piszczek is very good at his job and very professional.
