I was anxious being at McGrath Dealer for the first time but Dan was very welcoming and explained things thoroughly. He answered every question I had with a friendly smile. Had a great experience. Nice waiting area too!

My car hasn't been fully functional since buying it. Pretty disappointing. I wasn't sold what I was told I was being sold. The parts needed to fix my vehicle are on backorder and I was told they don't have an expected date. I feel as if I've downgraded my vehicle and have to pay more money. I wouldn't recommend to my friends

The experience with getting a loaner vehicle was unprofessional as I was treated as I was going to destroy the loaner. I do not even have any damage on my own 2007 Volvo other then a couple dings on the bumper smaller than a quarter. I have exceptional insurance coverage and was repeatedly told to be careful with the vehicle. Additionally, I then received a list of repairs but if the service person whom checked me in listened to me would have recalled you are asking to redo duplicate items I literally just paid to have done at the last Volvo dealership 3,000 miles ago. So, one of two things occurred either they didn’t do the repairs or you are fraudulently trying to get me to spend $4800 in repairs I do not need?

Dan was very helpful in figuring out a complex issue for me where another Volvo dealer had replaced my front right tire but did not set the alignment, thereby leading to accelerated degradation of the new tire, as well as the front left tire. I was pleased with the outcome and we replaced the front left tire and realigned the vehicle. That said, I am still disturbed by the fact that I purchased my vehicle CPO less than 8 months ago and yet in my first visit for routine maintenance I was served with an estimate of $3,800 in total work, all of which conveniently falling outside of my warranty. I do not drive my vehicle hard, and this seriously makes me question my decision of owning this vehicle long term. Furthermore I question Volvo’s ethos of “Worry Free Driving” and the value of vehicles purchased CPO. Finally, when I got home that afternoon I found a 2 inch scratch on the bottom of the leather wrapped steering wheel. I hadn’t noticed until I have do make the sharp turn into our alley. This was certainly not there when I left that morning and is deep enough to be permanent. I am happy to send photos if requested.

The only thing good about McGrath Volvo of Barrington is Dan Piszczek. Dan is a super wonderful person and is a true asset to the dealership. He’s a very understanding honest person and helped me out a lot. Thank you Dan Piszczek keep up the great work.

I only got an oil change. It took from 8 to 10:30. Two people that arrived after me were completed before me. This was first service trip since purchasing my car. I hope this isn’t the norm. The man that I dealt with at the service desk was nice and friendly. The waiting area was satisfactory
