Complicated issue but everyone was attentive to it.
He is alway on top of it and very cordial.

Recall notification stated “less than one hour repair”; quoted when dropped off car “two hours”; appointment was at 1020am, at 230pm was told another 45 minutes, at this time requested courtesy car to leave dealership area, at 420pm received motivation car was ready for pick up.
1. Quote times realistically and if unable to meet times for whatever unforeseen reason - courtesy call or notification for updates. I should not have had to go to the counter and ask for three different people to get an update. I was then told that my 2 hour repair (now at 4hours) was still another 45minutes (which turned into another two hours)
2. Manager told me the wait wasn’t the point...to me, it was. Expectation management is HUGE in customer service. If I was told 6 hours- I would have requested a vehicle at the start, being told two hours my family stayed in the waiting area reading materials we brought with us.
Not likely to recommend Mazda service center to others. Only used because recall recommended dealership services for repair.

I was skeptical about going to someone that wasn’t my original dealer, but I was treated the same way as I am at my original dealership. I’m currently a military spouse who is relocated from home, but my plates still show my home state. Mark noticed this and gave me a call to ask if I planned to be driving across the country soon. Actually, I am! So he mentioned a few repairs that would definitely needed before a long trip and we got them fixed. He even mentioned that I would need new tires before winter back home. I’m just glad it was easy to get my car fixed when I had no familiar place to go.

Appreciate the help we received and that transmission was replaced under warranty. Previously a brake problem was corrected under warranty also. We sure hope that we’d not buy a “Lemon”. If we did and more things keep going wrong, what can be done?
