JP was beyond excellent!!! In fact, everyone at Baker Subaru was great. We are on vacation and had planned to drop by and look at the new models. However, we were not planning on the dead battery problem(I left an interior light on)causing us to be there on that particular day. Anyway, the experience was so positive that my wife remarked to me and Brandi Stockton(internet sales) "we should just buy our new car here".
ps: the shuttle was great and took us to the nearby mall.
AND this all occurred on a National Holiday! We were worried that the Service Dept. would not even be open. Also, the person who initially greeted us in the service line was great, as well as the young mechanic who worked on our car.(While there, he discovered a faulty cat. converter and replaced it free under warranty.
Bobby was very informative and I can tell is good at his job.

William was on a break or something when I got back to the dealership to pick up my car. Another employee was nice and helped me. I don’t know his name but he had the west office.

I brought my car in to have three warranty items addressed. When called back, I was told none would be covered by my warranty. I expressed my displeasure naturally, since all three items are clearly warranty work. Several days passed at which point I was told my car was ready. Apparently my sternness led them to fix one of the problems, but not the other two. Bottom line is that they did everything they could to have excuses to not be obligated to fix anything. As representatives of VW, they make it look like VW doesn’t stand behind their product quality.
