The way this question is phrased does not do justice to my experience. Tanner was cordial and straight forward in his handling of the situation. However, I’m extremely disappointed with both Subaru and the Bob Baker dealer in the handling of my situation. I had a part replaced on my car under a tsb at this dealership in 2018. In less than 15000 miles that replacement part has already failed and neither the dealership nor Subaru will stand behind their replacement part. 15,000 miles is a dismal life expectancy for almost any part on a car and is not acceptable on a supposed fix to a defective factory part. However, neither Subaru nor the dealer were willing to stand behind their work, so I am stuck with a $1500+ bill to get this part replaced. I bought my car new at Bob Baker and have loved it up to this point, enough so that I’ve convinced two friends to buy Subaru’s. However, after this experience, my family and I will never buy another Subaru. It’s disappointing because I like the brand, but I cannot trust that the company stands behind their product.
