I am completely happy with Julian, but I ended up having to make three trips to Subaru. I travel from Alpine, which is about an hour trip. The first time you fixed my car, but the next two trips were to fix mistakes made. Fingers are crossed that I won’t have to return anytime soon! Thank you, Julian, for staying on top of it and getting me in right away each time.

I'm not at all satisfied. It took me a week and a half to eventually be told that there was "no evidence" that could be sent to Volkswagen to prove that my car's rear wheels were not receiving power through the Haldex. This is after I produced a code for them in "VCDS Module 22, AWD Mechanical Failure". This is after they verified that they experienced the behavior as well during a test drive. I was lied to on my service report: a tech said they "raised the vehicle, put it into gear, verified that the rear wheels received power" which is not even possible on a Gen 5 Haldex AWD system. I was told that the code I had shown them was a soft code that had disappeared: this was a lie. The code was and still is displayed in CANBUS module 22's memory and has now been read properly by another shop. I asked Bobby "so you're telling me that if a brand new 2019 Golf R on your lot was demonstrably not providing power to the rear wheels + there was a code in the AWD module indicating an AWD Mechanical Failure, you would say that car was fine" and he had no good answer for me. This is precisely what he was telling me about my car. I was told that Volkswagon would deny ANY powertrain warranty claim because my car had had it's clutch replaced with a stronger Sachs OEM replacement clutch: this is false because there is no way you can possibly link a manual clutch plate replacement to anything to do with a rear wheel drive differential pump going out. Also, I'm not looking for you to make that determination for me. If VWofA is going to deny a Haldex warranty for a clutch replacement, then I'll go to bat with VWofA. You don't need to gatekeep that process and just refuse to submit anything to them. This is simply a case of your dealership not wanting to deal with my claim for whatever reason. You lied and wasted my time. Furthermore, it infuriates me when I'm talked down to about how I just don't understand how my own car works. Repeatedly I was explained how a Golf R isnt 100% AWD so this behavior is normal. I'm not an idiot, I completely understand what I own, how it works, what's wrong, and how to reproduce it. It is absolutely infuriating to be talked down to by some people who don't even seem familiar with the behavior of a faulty Haldex system. "Oh the Haldex is bulletproof, this car isn't like a Subaru because...." Jesus Christ I get it, but listen to me and feel the car and check the code It has. I'll never go back to your dealership. I've had multiple bad experiences here and the convenience of being right near my house is no longer worth it.

Yes the job I came in for was done to my satisfaction. I did mention that my apple play was not working and Colton thought it might be the cord however it worked fine until this last week. I called the guy who sold it to Me and he said apple had an update and mine needs to be updated so I need to bring it in as soon as possible.
