Let me start by saying that my car was repaired today and seems to be running fine.
When I dropped off the car for service two days ago, I had the car towed because it had 5 error messages on the dash. Julian told me that because it was towed, the car would be there all day, even though I was physically there like other customers who drove their cars to the dealership.
Later I was told that the dash error lights were off so the repairmen could not get an error report. I understand that intermittent problems are harder to troubleshoot, but it seems odd that the repairmen had not encountered my problem before. I showed Julian a picture of the dashboard errors when I dropped the car off.It turned out to be a serious problem. After a test drive the repairmen did see the error lights, and were able to get the codes and do the repair.
