Lucas did the best he could in my situation. Lucas got me a loaner vehicle right away and this was much appreciated. I know they are hard to get sometimes. Lucas kept me informed all throughout my time at the dealership. I wish it didn’t take two months to get my car fixed but I do understand how difficult it is to get parts and schedule work when everyone is so busy and probably overloaded with work. We brought our 2022 explorer ST in to service on 9/20/22 approx 2pm for the driver side 2nd row seat rattling. We did not have an appointment. Edwin explained that they would not be able to get to it that day but he would keep me updated. I understood and told him that I didn’t return to work till 9/27/22. The 22nd he text and explained he was still waiting on a tech. By Monday 9/26 it still hasn’t even been diagnosed. I could understand if part delay was an issue but to not have a diag for 1 week is unacceptable. We decided to pick up the vehicle today 9/27 so I could return to work. We did not want the tech to tear it apart when we needed it back, yet I doubt that would have happened. Long story short is that a simple service bulletin (some rubber and hose clamps from what it looks like) for a seat rattle takes over a week to do apparently. It’s one thing to have a brand new vehicle making a bunch of noise and it’s a whole other thing to have it sit in service for an entire week untouched. So far not impressed with ford products and service especially.
