My wife scheduled a service appointment for on oil change. She was advised it would take 1.5-2 hours to complete. It took nearly 5 hours and the communication was poor from your service team. She had to call after waiting almost 5 hours only to find out it was ready and waiting. She asked the service guys to look at the roof rack because it is loose again. It has been repaired 2 times under warranty already but now it is loose once again. Service rep advised warranty had just expired but gave a quote of $300 to fix it. If the warranty repairs did not solve the issue why should I pay out of pocket? Perhaps it wasn’t fixed properly the first 2 times I brought it in for the same issue? For as many warranty issues that we have had with our vehicle I expected your service team to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. We purchased our Platinum Pathfinder from Avondale Nissan brand new. We have maintained it at Avondale Nissan since we purchased it. I have paid for the premium maintenance package and keep up with all of the scheduled service yet we continue to have issues with the car. Everything from the faulty transmisssion to the roof rack falling apart multiple times and all of the other warranty issues I am no longer impressed with Nissan. The promises your sales team made to us when we bought our vehicle have not been lived up to. Our specific service rep is usually a nice guy. He offered to gratis our oil change. It was a kind gesture but not enough to change my opinion of Avondale Nissan and Nissan in general. I am disappointed.
