I was told the previous subaru technician had improperly installed my headlamp at my last **** Hannah service. This improper installation had allowed my new headlight to burn hotter than it should of had it been properly installed and that this may or may not contribute to a future breakdown and need for expensive replacement of the entire lighting unit. I want the error documented in my service record so **** Hannah pays to replace my entire headlight should the overheating lead to premaure death of my headlamps. I paid **** Hannah to install a new headlight after it was clearly determined all other aspects of the lighting unit were intact and no other light nor part of the lighting unit overall was failing. If the entire unit fails the replacement costs incurred will not billed to me. I appreciate my service representatives honesty and he was a pleasure to interact with. But the service notes need to reflect the entire truth of the original installation error and there is nothing I can see in writing that will protect my financial interests should the lighting unit fail and need replaced entirely. Thank you
