The estimate of charges included $249 for an inspection that should have been free. The $2418 service was completely unnecessary as I fixed it myself by removing the negative battery post, cleaning it, waiting 15 minutes, and putting it back on.

Arguing with the customer and making them feel inferior is probably not a great thing to do. Tyler was nice to work with and made sure that everything was complete before leaving.
