Dear **** Hannah Honda Service Center Manager... Tonight, I want to provide you my feedback to improve the future service of your office. Overall, I was frustrated the service. That was my worst service experience of Honda Service center in my whole life time. Here is my story (organized time by time today). 1) On 07:00 am June 7th 2019, I dropped my Honda Pilot 2016 in your shop to check my tires because I recognized my tire pressure keep going down even I filled the air several times. 2) At 07:00 am June 7th 2019, I worked with Rachelle Malauulu and I requested the following services; 1) check the tires and fix it if necessary; 2) Quote the cost of the front roof rail mold since I lost it recently (plastic pieces); 3) Quote the all tire change because your shop recently recommended changing tires; 4) Quote the price of the tire cap (tiny little piece). Even I requested checking the tires on the rack, Rachelle Malauulu did not communicated properly with other service team member. As a result, my vehicle was almost out of the shop just after filling airs in the tires and I requested again checking the tire on the rack. 3) On 07:12 am, your shop provided me Lyft transportation to my work place. This portion of the service was very satisfactory and the best part of this service. 4) This is the starting point of my huge frustration. On 08:28 am, Rachelle Malauulu called me back and the price of the roof rail is approximately 731.9 dollars for both sides. I said the price does not make any sense to me because it is just plastic pieces even it is authentic Honda part. Rachelle Malauulu responded that is one whole assembly and I need to purchase whole assembly to fix it. In addition, Rachelle Malauulu mentioned the price of the sensor of the tire that I did not request. I ONLY REQUESTED THE PRICE OF THE TINY LITTLE METAL PIECE (TIRE CAP). She said it is free of charge but the there was no replacement of the tire cap. Moreover, I still can not understand why she told me the price of the sensor of the tire which price is 48.56 dollars. I only need to have the small tire metal cap NO SENSOR! Yet, the quote of the tire was reasonable (Rachelle Malauulu did a good job explaining this portion). Finally, I said do not take any actions except for the tire check. I was really frustrated regarding that phone conservation. If there are any issue of my English language, I want to say I AM SO SORRY FOR MY POOR ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILL at this time. 5) Since the number she provided me does not make any sense to me, I called Honda part department located at Portland, Oregon on 08:55 am. The person of the part department at Portland shop said the price is 140.00 dollars but he said verification of part is necessary before he order it. Therefore, I did not take any actions. 6) On 10:14 am, I received a text that my car is ready. I called again to Rachelle Malauulu and requested the shuttle on 4:30 pm today because I had to work today and my wife is too busy to pick up the vehicle. Just in case, I requested the shuttle confirmation via text but I did not hear anything from your office until 4:30 pm. 7) On 4:30 pm, I waiting for the shuttle but nothing happened. I called your office again and I told my current address for Lyft driver. Yet, he arrived at wrong location somehow. To resolve this issue, I called to driver and I found the driver after 5 minutes delay. 8) I arrived at your office about 5:00 pm and several customers are waiting for picking up their vehicle. This situation was totally understandable. 9) While I was waiting for my turn, I visited the part department in your shop and I asked the price of ;1) roof rail front mold; 2) the tiny metal tire cap for Honda Pilot 2016 touring model. The response of the part department was very kind and accurate. His response was 140 dollars for the molds and approximately 10 dollars for the tiny tire cap respectively. Even I got this service and transportation for free, I was not happy about the 9 episodes above I described. If those situations happens to other customers again, they will be really frustrated. Dear Manager of this shop, I want to politely request preventing those 9 episodes happen again to other customers. If this situation happens, that will make huge scratch of your shop's reputations. I was told I had 100% coverage and they said it’d be $300 for rotors. This is a part of general maintenance and I am just sad this couldn’t be under my warranty.
