It was fine. The bill amount was more than we had anticipated. The people were super.
I was told that my car would only take a couple of hours for the new airbag to be installed, and I had agreed with Alicia that I would stop by between 430 and 4:45 PM that afternoon to pick up my car. When I arrived at 4:30, however, I was informed that my car was not done and that it would take another 30 to 45 minutes as they had just started installing the part. Considering that I dropped off the car at 8:15 AM that morning I was Visibly frustrated and irritated that this could not have been communicated to me earlier, especially considering that I had left work early to pick up my car before the 5 PM closure of the service department. Less than ideal was .... the time estimated for the work had been about an hour.
Two hours later, I learned it’s going to be necessary to have another appointment that will take a whole day. (to adjust an alert on dashboard regarding need for service). It had sounded like it was possible to correct in an hour.
Even though the work was not complete, I had to leave, but I appreciated the car being made very nice and clean for me.
Eliseo Estrada is the best Mercedes-Benz service advisor and Mercedes Benz of Marin is the best dealership.
