I took my truck for a 15,000 mile service to change oil and replace the fuel filter because the light was on and they didn’t replace the fuel filter. So now I have to go back tomorrow to get it done.

I was dissatisfied with my experience at MK Smith dealership 02/09/26. I scheduled my truck drop off days in advance and was in need of my truck to be checked out for a check engine light alert but was told it could take days just to be looked at, with no clear timeline for repairs, possibly a week or two. This was blamed on a lack of diesel mechanic staffing and not so diesel friendly establishment making diesel customers feel like a low priority. I was given the same treatment and explanation over a year ago when I tried MK for a similar check engine light alert. That’s not acceptable, and I hope they improve staffing and turnaround times moving forward under the rebranding of establishment.

I took my vehicle in for $119.95 oil change and tire rotation. When picking up the vehicle I was told my bill was nearly $200. After getting that corrected my new bill was $120.42.After making the payment i looked at my paperwork and noticed that i had over $30 in rewards. I wasn't even aware that i had any and was advised after the payment was completed that I have to specifically ask to use my rewards. The cashier mayvhabe beem able to reverse and reprocess the payment however i was in a hurry and already frustrated so i just made sure the points wouldn't expire and left. After getting home and reviewing my paperwork further it specifically states that my tires WERE NOT ROTATED which should have been included in the $119.95 package that I originally agreed to purchase. In the end I paid more than the $119.95 for less service and on top of that I did get my $30 credit. Now I am regretting not reprocessing my payment to use my $30 rewards points as I do not think I will be returning to MK Smith for service in the future

Mr. Gary was polite, kind, and spoke very clearly about the proposed services my 2020 Traverse needed. He outlined all the charges and made sure I understood. I’m very grateful.
