I had a 1:00 appt for an oil change. The service advisor Matthew said it would take about 1 hour, maybe 1 hr & 15 mins. I received a text notifying me of the progress. I responded that I wanted to continue to be updated by text. After 2 hours of waiting I went to the service desk to ask how much longer it would be. I had not received any text that my car was ready like I was promised. Someone at the service desk paged Matthew & he never responded to that text. That was an additional 8 minutes of waiting. Finally the gentleman at the desk completed my paper work & said my car was ready. I asked him how long has it been ready, he said he didn't know. There was no communication like I was told. About one hour after I left I received a call from Matthew wanting to know how the service was. I explained to him what happened & he said he didn't remember writing up my service order. He apologized for the lack of communication. Two hours is not an acceptable amount of time for an oil change, especially when I had an appointment and had to wait for my car. The waiting room was messy & not very clean. Not a very pleasant place to wait for 2 hours. Very disappointed in the service.

I was confused about being told that my powering steering fluid was leaking. When I asked more about it Pablo said “my guys are leaving around this time so they don’t have time to do a full check”. I had a scheduled appointment so I felt brushed off because it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I guess the mechanics leave around this time? I don’t want a call back to discuss this.

The communication on this service was the worst I’ve had in four years with Sierra HONDA. The automatic texts were misplaced and mistimed.

I’m very happy with Tina Meng. If it wasn’t for her I would have gone to another dealership to get my Honda service. Tina deserves a five stars! I’m looking forward to the survey!
