At first my experience was going good , I had my car towed to the dealership. When my car arrived I went into the service office and talked to kevin eng , I explained what was going on with my car kevin suggested the best way to figure out the problem was to run a Diagnostic test . I agreed to that . Kevin told me he would be contacting me at noon . I recieved the phone call from kevin and he told me what the problem was it was the ignition switch assembly and the price was going to be 1132 plus tax and the part was 5 days out or I could pay an extra 35 dollars and they will be able to overnight the part . Kevin told me that the tech was able to reset the system and move it and when the tech turns off the car he tried starting it again and it wouldn't. I told kevin can I have a little bit to thing about what I want to do and he said yes but if I was going to do the work I would need to have a answer for him by 2 so he can order the part . I decided I wasnt going to be able to afford the repair, I called kevin back and asked him if the tech could reset the system again so I can drive it home he told me he is going to ask the tech and would give me a call back . He called me back and told me that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to do it because the ignition is now locked up . I told kevin ok I will be on my way to pick up my car with another tow truck . As I walked up to the service office I noticed there were 3-4 tech guys around my car and the 2 front wheels were on dollies I didnt think anything about it until I got home . I paid the 140 for the Diagnostic test and got my receipt and walked out to where my car was. I meet with the tow truck driver and he told me he will meet me at my house . When the tow truck arrived at my house he unloaded my car in the driveway. I seen my front 2 windows were rolled do halfway so I put my key into the ignition to roll up my windows and the key would not turn . I took my car to the dealership with the ignition still functioning it just wouldn't start I get my car back and the ignition doesn't do anything now . I called kevin to ask him what happened but it went to voicemail. Kevin called me back and I asked why the ignition isn't working anymore i cant roll up my windows, he told me that the key is really worn out and it wont be able to turn the ignition. So I asked Kevin when all my stuff gets stolen out of my car because the windows wont be able to be rolled up do I send my insurance claim to the dealership he responded no one of the windows was rolled down when it came in , I said yes but they were able to be rolled up when I dropped it off. I asked Kevin what am I supposed to do now , he told me I can take the door apart and try to manually roll it up . Then he suggested I tow my car back to the dealer and maybe the tech can do it for me , or I could leave it there until i am ready to get the work done . I told him this is why I dont deal with dealership and told him thanks for his help and hung up . I am very disappointed with the service I got,I had a ignition that functioned when I dropped it off and get it back and its locked up ! That could have been told to me before I left the dealer .
