Germaine Surprise Honda is actually 30 miles out of my way. I go there because the service adviser Mike Tomlison is great in advising me on what i need and dont need done at the time. Also the work gets done correctly by the shop which is just as important.

A Honda “software glitch” popped an error up on my display. I called the Service dept and they said they’d never heard of that error so I should bring the car in. Brought the car in today, was told the car is totally fine and turns out a software update would correct the error - but the update wasn’t covered under warranty so I’d have to pay for it, which I cannot currently afford. Then was charged for diagnostic time! So your cars software generates an error the dealer doesn’t recognize so I have to pay for them to figure out it’s a “software glitch”?!? And why would you charge a consumer for a software update for an error?!?

Mike very helpful and knowledgeable! I have got to say that the womens restroom was THE cleanest I have ever been in!!! Thank you P.S. I miss the donuts & fruit with coffee!! At 7am it was nice. Helps pass the time away - not thinking how hungry I am & when I’ll be able to get some breakfast????
