We really liked the communication through cell phone to leave a message which made it easier to not miss a call and respond back. In May my wife called me and stated that the vehicle would not move when placed in reverse leaving for work in the morning and the RPM's were high, IE the transmission slipping.. When I troubleshot the car I noticed the fuel mileage was down to 25 MPG vs. the normal 30 MPG. I contacted Ford and they recommended I bring to the local dealer. I brought the vehicle to Chino Hills Ford to troubleshoot the vehicle(1st Attempt). It was in the shop for a week and all I could get was that they could not get any codes and the vehicle was operating "Normal". On a trip in June I accelerated out of a corner and the Engine RPM's again went to approx. 4000. I brought the vehicle to Chino Hills Ford to troubleshoot the vehicle(2nd Attempt). It was in the shop for Ford Engineers to drive, etc. all I could get was that they could not get any codes and the vehicle was operating "Normal". The vehicle is now getting 23-24 MPG and the vehicle was running @ approx. 4000 RPM when my wife was backing out of the garage again July 29. I had her shut down the vehicle due to safety and equipment concerns. I brought the vehicle to Chino Hills Ford to troubleshoot the vehicle(3rd Attempt). It was in the shop for Ford Engineers to drive, etc. all I could get was that they could not get any codes and the vehicle was operating "Normal". This vehicle is getting the fuel mileage of a non-hybrid. Ford and Chino Hills Ford are telling me that a Ford Escape Hybrid getting 23-24 MPG is normal. I left a message with the General Manager to return my call. I am waiting for someone to step up and correct my issue.

The problem was not with the service representative Josh, it was that my car came in on Tuesday, had a multipoint inspection performed, spent 4 days in the shop, was returned to me and 2 hours later, wouldn't start! That was the problem.

Johnny took an interest in establishing real communication, was helpful, courteous and made the extra effort to get a factory concession on a TSB related repair instead of the easier higher grossing route of customer pay. Because of him I will be using your dealership. I live in Tustin and have been unhappy with Tustin Ford and am severing my 30 year exclusive retail and service relationship with them. I will use your dealership though not immediately convenient.
