Benny could not provide me with any of my Hondacare maintenance information. I had to advise him I had requested shuttle service when I made my appointment. He was clearly not the best service. The two females at the cashier seemed like they didn’t know about shuttle service. My appointment was for 10:30am and they told me the shuttle wouldn’t be available until 11:30am. That does make any sense, since my car was done at 11:30am. Needless to say, terrible service.

When I took my car in for service, it says 50% oil now it’s saying 40% so I’m not sure if they changed the oil or they just forgot to reset it. Second when I plug in my phone, it doesn’t read it onto the screen. So I made another appointment to take it back. Gas is not cheap right now. Keep taking it for the third time is too many times for the same thing.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Honda of Gardena. When I scheduled my appointment, nobody informed me there would be a 3–4 hour wait. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have made the appointment.
As soon as I arrived, an employee named Arthur was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of greeting me respectfully, he immediately asked if I planned to leave because there was a long wait and said I couldn’t stay around. This was my first time ever getting service at this dealership, and the customer service was terrible from the beginning.
What’s even worse is that after I got home, I noticed parts near my glove compartment and cabin filter area were left broken and laying on the floor of my car. Nobody informed me anything had broken during service. I do not work on my own vehicle or touch the filters myself, which is exactly why I take my car to professionals for maintenance. It’s upsetting and unacceptable that my car was returned to me damaged without any explanation.
I’m also questioning whether the inspection and oil change were even done properly. My paperwork marked everything as “good,” including fluids, but my windshield washer fluid was still low, and now my maintenance light is showing “B1” after the visit when it should have been reset correctly. On top of that, after they performed a tire rotation, my tire pressure warning came on while I was driving on the freeway.
Overall, this was my first and definitely last visit to this dealership. I expected professionalism and honesty, but instead I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and worried that my car was not serviced correctly. I will be contacting the dealership again because I want my vehicle inspected and repaired properly.
