Rene was very kind but the 4 1/2 hour wait was unexpected. I wasn’t told it would take that long. Usually when I have a dealer appointment it’s 2 hours, or I am told it will be longer. The music in the customer lounge was way too loud. I appreciate your service, but wanted to be honest with answers

It took 3 hours to do a tire rotation. Your system of having a customer wait for 3 hours for a very basic service because ypu have to wait for corporate to approve the service before releasing the car is unreasonable. 3 hours! Let that sink in. I used the texting to ask for an update at the 1 hour and 45 minute mark, didnt get a response and had to go and ask. There's nothing courteous about the service making someone wait 3 hours with no communication. Also, I made the appointment the week before and they even got that wrong, when I showed up they said my appointment was for 2 days later, I had confirmed the appointment over the phone and so this was also a bummer. I drove all the way from Redondo Beach to Downey, to find out they scheduled it wrong, waited 3 hours with zero communication until the very end when I had to ask for it at the desk multiple times. Hyundai servicing is a joke, I will not be buying or leasing another Hyundai after the 2nd bad experience with their service departments.

The service provided my provider was great. The reason I wasn't completely satisfied was the 40 minutes it took to get my vehicle once I arrived for pickup. That was unacceptable and cause my wife and I to be late to an important function.

So unprofessional! I have not had a single positive experience at this dealership. The only reason I keep coming back is because I’ve been dealing with this fuel tank recall for nearly a year, and it feels pointless to start over with another dealership. I scheduled an early morning appointment on Friday, only to be told upon arrival that the recall inspection can’t even be performed until after 8 AM. I then asked about a shuttle, but was told my work goes over the shuttle radius and so they wouldn’t be able to shuttle me. There was also no loaner vehicles available. I scheduled another appointment for Saturday specifically with my previous advisor Monica, just to avoid having to explain the entire situation to another advisor. I showed up at the scheduled time, only to be told that Monica wasn’t even there and that it was her day off. Why would your BDC tell me that Monica had an opening at 9:45 AM and confirm the appointment knowing that it is Monica’s day off? This level of disorganization and lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. Appointments clearly aren’t being managed properly, and there seems to be no respect for customers’ time.
