At my 20k service on Friday, May 22, the service report showed a $700 recall option for the second row seat rails. I did ask to schedule an appointment on Monday, June 1 at 1000 to have them replaced. I asked how long it took and was told about half a day. I have other appointments so I asked for a loaner, to which I was told yes. On Friday, May 29, I received a call to confirm an appt on Saturday, May 30 at 1000. I discovered whoever made my appt selected the wrong day, but I could still manage the schedule shift as long as I could have the loaner. I asked if the loaner was still an option and I was told yes. When I arrived at my 1000 appt on Saturday, the service manager called the warehouse to make sure they had the parts in stock for this appointment. I would have assumed that would’ve been done prior to my arrival. The warehouse confirmed they had the parts. I asked to get the loaner and was told I would have to have it back by 1200 since that is when enterprise closes. I asked if the car would be done by 1200 since originally I was told it would take about half a day. The service manager checked and came back and said it would actually only take 10 minutes. Shocked, I agreed and I decided to stay rather than pursue the loaner. I received the service document at the end of the appointment which ended up taking roughly 45 minutes rather than 10 and it showed that I had my seat rails replaced. When the service manager came to get me to give me the keys back to my car, she said there was another recall on my car. She didn’t know what it was, but it was around $700 and the warehouse did not have the parts in stock. That is when I realized that all they did was tighten bolts in the third row, which is not the appointment I made nor what is reflected on my service paperwork, but my seat rails have not been replaced and I have not had a chance to make another appointment to have this replaced, but I am frustrated because I rearranged my Schedule and took out my car seats to accommodate this specific recall and it was not done. I lost about two hours of my day on Saturday for this. I did briefly talk to someone in the warehouse to see if they were able to get the parts in for this by Monday as that is the only break I have in my schedule at this time, but they weren’t sure. I have not had a chance to return the call to finish figuring this out. But I am very frustrated.
