I was kept up to date and service was completed on time.
I brought in my 2018 Tucson, with 23,470 miles, to have the TSB 21-AT-014H applied, since the suv judders while sitting in a drive-thru or while in idle at a stop light, ready to step on the gas.
Report said they could not replicate. I get in the car and the car is jumping all over the place. Go back and tell service advisor and he says, “yeah if it was sitting in park, it will do that, its normal.
At a minimum they should have done the software update and re-learn process. This was not done.
Before I left the the lot, the Tucson was juddering. I alerted the service advisor and we drove together around the lot when he told me, this is normal for a DCT transmission and it’s a characteristic of the car. This was the worst experience i have ever had at Horne Hyundai, after buying two different cars from you. Not happy……

I was asked if I would like my car to be washed and I said yes. When I went out to my car after paying, I noticed it had not been washed and that caused some frustration. My main concern is the one thing that I could visually check and easily demonstrate that you were supposed to complete was not done. When I went inside to raise this concern with the tech who checked me out, which was not the person who have been helping me all day I was met with some frustration that I was asking and questioning why it wasn’t done. Additionally, I did note to the tech that I had concerns that the one thing I could check was not done and that brings to question the validity of the rest of the work being done that I paid for. I got some attitude from the tech about going and getting it washed and then I was calling into question things actually getting done as they said they were supposed to. I will say when he brought the car back washed, his attitude was fine, curt, but pleasant. While I will acknowledge my peace of the interaction being annoyed and probably coming off a little bit hostile I’m also frustrated in the response I received, but more so in the thoroughness of the service I was provided. I’ve been coming there for a long time and I believe and hope that things are being done as they say they are, but again being able to easily demonstrate that things aren’t being done makes me question the integrity of the service I’m receiving. Happy to discuss.

The gentleman that checked me in was adamant that I made our appointment at 8:30 am, when in fact I knew that I had set it for 7:30. He said he was going to take care of lady behind me because she had a 7:30 appointment. So, while he took care of lady behind me my wife found a photo of our appointment verification showing 7:30. I showed him this verification and he took a picture to show his supervisor. I know mistakes can happen, but I wasn't impressed on how things got just glossed over.

Andre is great as usual. Pretty disappointed in the parts team to have a service scheduled nearly 2 weeks in advance and not have the gear oil needed for my car to do a trans flush.

I didn’t appreciate bringing my car in for a recall, having the work done, AND also a report on another $800 in work they said I needed!!!
I have my car serviced every 3,000 miles and am on top of keeping my car in good working order. The reason I don’t come in to your service dept, is because you regularly said I needed work done, even when I didn’t need it.
It is for that reason, when I’m ready for another Hyundai, I won’t be coming there…..
