I have been buying cars from Sunnyside since 1993. I have also had my Avalons and Camrys serviced there . I wasn’t really impressed with West Side Toyota at first, but today was a huge improvement over previous times.
The young lady that took care of my service account was very good!

The service time for a basic oil change and tire rotation was beyond excessive reaching 1:20 minutes. When I spoke to the service advisor at 45 minutes, he said that it should only be 10 more minutes. The time kept ticking by... In addition, when I scheduled the appointment, I shared that I thought my car was still under Toyota care and the person on the phone agreed. When I arrived, I was told that my Toyota Care was over and that I would have to pay for the service. The service advisor did comp my tire rotation, but I was still left with `$100 charge for an oil change. Talk about an injury to insult moment.

Scheduling was easy. Dropping off my suv was easy. Waiting and pick up area were clean. I dod NOT like that people were talking on their phone's speaker phone in waiting area.
Waited forever to get in for my urgent recall and dropped my car off for my appointment today only to find out after I got home that they didn’t have the parts to do the urgent recall repair. I lost most of my day and this also seriously inconvenienced my brother that had to pick me up and take me home. A simple check to ensure parts I was told were in and a phone call to reschedule would’ve alleviated the situation. In addition, I was told they didn’t have wash my car which is the least they could have done and they didn’t even do that. I’m very unhappy about the complete lack of respect for my time. I’m a long-time customer and considering finding a new dealership based on the lack of empathy or some offer of goodwill considering the situation.

MrGoodwell kept me informed on the progress of the service. I do appreciate his conscientious concern and willingness to assure me as he explained a technical issue. I truly felt like I was in a place of a successful business.
I will recommend everyone stay away from your terrible service. Almost six hundred for an oil change and a key replacement. You're a bunch of criminals. I have purchased two cars from you and this is how you treat a loyal customer! That was the last time my family will set door in those doors.
