I purchased a vehicle from Toyota of Roanoke Rapids and experienced a catastrophic engine failure only 18 days later. The process that followed was frustrating, with poor communication, repeated delays, no loaner vehicle, and a lack of accountability. I paid for towing, lost valuable time, and was forced to seek an independent inspection from a Mazda dealership because I no longer had confidence in the repairs performed. This has been the most stressful and disappointing vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. I would not recommend Toyota of Roanoke Rapids.

I arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appt. Took about 5 minutes for anyone to recognize or acknowledge me standing there ready to be checked in. It was 4:10 before vehicle was returned. 1 hour 40 minutes+

Every time the cabin air filter is pulled out by the service technicians it is put back in and not cleaned out causing the leafs that were in it to get caught in the fan and cause a rattling noise. This is the second time this has happened. This is part of the multi point inspection that is done every time vehicle is serviced but in my opinion it’s just to try and sell something that’s not necessarily needed, if filter is already out then why not just blow out the 7 leaves that’s in it? For years Toyota never tried to do this to me and now every time I bring a vehicle in it’s a hassle.

Technician did a good job. Didn't like that I was charged $63 for hybrid battery filter. $32 labor to install a filter that takes 2 minutes. $31 for the filter that I could buy online from Roanoke Rapids Toyota for $21. Also I had a clip come off that hold the inside panel in fender well.I was charged for that part even though I bought the car brand new from RR 16 months ago.
