I scheduled an appointment online in advance noting it was for the recent recall. I took time off work as it said I’d need to leave my car. Upon arrival and leaving my car, I quickly got a call saying the parts are not yet available for this recall. A better customer experience would have been for someone to review my appointment request in advance and inform me of that before I wasted my time rearranging my schedule to set an appointment that couldn’t be completed. It’s not easy for me to take time off work and leave my car for a day, so finding out like this last minute was frustrating.
