The service advisors and service manager were awesome. The techs claimed no issues with a transmission noise that I was instructed to have looked at. Service manager and advisor from plover Mark Toyota stated it didn’t sound right. Toyota in Des Moines, IA had a service manager and head mechanic both agree something was wrong. Crossing fingers we have no issues. That being said, the service by the team was amazing and I’m happy they took a look at everything. Great job.

6-12-2025 service on 24 Sequoia. 5 Stars !!!!! I really like the new service team approach. I was about 15 min early and they signed in my vehicle , took pictures of it for proof of service quality. ( a new trend at high quality service providers ). I had updates on the large screen in the lobby while I waited for my vehicle.. I also received text updates incase I was off site . I am very particular about my vehicle and glad that Mark Toyota is too. This is a high quality service experience and no regrets. Thank you Mark Toyota of Stevens Point / Plover… Brad

I had a flat tire over the weekend. Brought the tire in Monday morning to be patched or to be replaced. Was told I’d get a call back, but when I didn’t hear anything by Monday afternoon I called back and no one had any idea what I was talking about. They then found the tire and told me no one had looked at it yet but that they’d give me a call back once a tech took a look. I never heard anything else on Monday. I called Tuesday morning, since I was still driving around with a spare and was told I’d get a call back soon. Once the tire was inspected it was determined it was not fixable and that a new tire had to be ordered. I was told it would be under road hazard warranty so I would just have to pay for labor. Then that afternoon I received a call saying my tire had come in and a tech would be putting it on the rim and could install it that day but that it wasn’t actually under warranty since I hadn’t bought the tires from you. I bought the car brand new last year that came with the tires, and when I brought that up I was told it didn’t count and that I had to pay out of pocket. I was then told again I would get a call back when my tire was ready to be put on. Around 5 I finally got a call that it was done. When I asked about having it put on I was told that the techs were finished for the day but that she would “run and see if someone could stay late for me.” I was able to get the tire put on around 5:30 and was able to drive home. This whole experience was frustrating and the lack of communication between techs and reps is very clear. Betty was the only helpful one who made me feel like I was being listened to and she is a rockstar!

Customer service was very poor from getting my car checked in, to service, to checking out and trying to set up another appointment for further repairs. I've never had this experience before in all the times I've been to plover Toyota, past experience the check in process is friendly smiles, charming,they go over details on visit and direct you on where you can wait. After, in past experience they would walk me through with what was done on my car, whats needed, etc. Always communicating and holding high standards.I have always had such an amazing experience that I recommend everyone I know to Plover for buying or repairs, or basic maintenance. This time around was sloppy, I felt like I the Customer was inconveniencing the Service writters girls checking me in. No smiles, no hello, no friendly service. To make a follow-up appointment on issues I've been having had again felt like an inconvenience, and was pushed off. I had to remind them as I was paying to set up that appointment. This was met with them telling me they are booking out way into July as if by hearing this I would say forget it my car doesn't need the repairs.I expressed that I really needed to set this up while I'm here with the because when I try to call no one answers the phone or I played phone tag with Betty, who eventually just left me a voice-mail saying we could get it figured out and scheduled when I come in on June 11th. I need to get this fixed asap especially if they truly are booking out as the longer I play phone tag, or wait to scheduled, the further this repair gets delayed. I was met with eye rolls, weather done intentionally or not, it was unprofessional. Then I was handed my paper and told to swipe my card without anyone walking me through what was done to my car, what was needed in the future, and how things looked. So I requested that they walk me through what was done first as I appreciated that in the past during each visit so I know. I again could see annoyance in the staff members face who sharply informed me that they changed their process and everything is done through the text app service and I could just look there. I thought to myself this has got to be the worst service for my car I have ever received. She did pull up her screen to share a few details, but not much. Then I asked about the tire rotation. I found out the did not rotate my tires. She informed me they did not do this because my back tires had more ware, so they wanted to keep the good tires on the front of the car. I was a bit confused as I bought my tires from Plover Toyota, I have my tires rotated at every oil change, so I dont understand how my back tires have more ware unless this entire time I've been requesting the rotation and it has not been getting done just like today. I asked about my brakes because the last time I came in I was told my brake pads had been worn down and would need to be changed. I kept the paperwork with this information, and this time around she told me my brakes are good. I asked her if they looked at my brakes and how much was worn down, she could not tell me. Then she informed me that I had dirty air filters. I said okay, so are we going to change those. The service writter said no, not this time because they could last me a little longer. I told her if they are dirty I would like them changed. They didn't change them, I guess Ill do it the next oil change with who ever I choose to go to in the future. This experience has really turned me from ever wanting to continue to use Plover Toyota or recommend Plover Toyota. All around terrible experience. Bring back the old service writters you had, or have them at least train the new ones on how to treat customers and provide good Toyota service. This was awful.
