Enjoyed the service I received and the experience was painless.
I made an appointment because I had to get a jump start for my battery. The person who took the apartment said there was no charge to check the battery but if there was other things they had to check, they would charge me which I agreed to. They found out my battery was bad.But then went through some other diagnostics that were not necessary, resulting in almost a five hundred dollar charge.Just for a new battery. I feel totally ripped off.
And I believe that once they noticed my battery was bad, no further testing should have been needed. When I questioned the service person why he didnt just replace the battery and not do those other things.He said it was because I signed the paper for diagnostics. I did sign the paper, but I am under the impression only if needed. And I do not believe it was needed. And I got
Totally ripped off. Was hoping to be able to establish a place? I could take my car if needed. But I don't want to feel uncomfortable with taking my car, which now I do feel uncomfortable. Bringing my car back for any service. I asked him for any kind of discount. He could give me and he would not give me any discount. And I happen to know that they had a discount for a battery.
At the time. I believe I should be refunded.The additional one hundred and twenty nine dollars.They charged me for a service that was not necessary once they found out, the battery was bad. I am considering consulting toyota's corporate office on this matter.
I was told all of my multipoint inspections were green and nothing needed to be replaced. After leaving, I received a report that indicated my engine air filter and cabin air filter needed to be changed (red). I would have had this done had I known.
My scheduled appointment took 2 hours only for this inspection to be completed and my tires be rotated.

This has nothing to do with Sarah. She was very professional. I think having to wait 90 minutes for an oil change service after setting up an appointment, is too long.

The service itself was very good. What is unsatisfactory and EXTREMELY disappointing is charging the 3% fee for using a credit card. You are not a small business and have PLENTY of volume in the service department to not pass along that fee to customers. When you arrive at an appointment expecting a $300 invoice but HAVE TO add on additional services for safety reasons, increasing your bill by $500 using a credit card becomes necessary. My family has purchased 4 vehicles from your dealership and due to this policy I’m not sure another will be purchased.

Service was good, but the time it took to replace a couple break pads & rotars was much longer than predicted.

The inspection report always recommend services that I don’t need. At every visit it recommends replacing the air and cabin filter. It recommended replacing my 1yr old brakes and 2 yr old tires. I have to keep meticulous records to compare to the recommendations so I don’t buy stuff that I don’t need. I don’t feel like I can trust the inspection report.

I purchased this vehicle at Newbold. I was under the assumption that tire rotation was free if you purchased the tires from Newbold? I was charged 39.95 for my rotation. Was this done in error?
I still have yet to have someone from Newbold Toyota explain to me how the transmission fluid replacement is performed, including 2-30 minute hold on the phone and a request for the same when I checked in. It’s like you don’t want to sell me this service.
