I have owned the vehicle for approximately one month. It’s been in the shop 90% or more. It’s about time to make my first payment and I haven’t even had the car. They call me and tell me the car is ready after they had it for a full week I drive it one block and the engine light comes back on That has happened at least three times now it is beyond frustrating as we have to drive a ways to even get to the dealership, we are without a car this whole time and getting ready to make a payment on something we’ve not had.

I remembered why I left Newbold before because the poor poor customer service. Kelsey wasn’t helpful and didn’t seem to want to wait on me. Her tone of voice was unconcern. She also called stating my tire was ready and I needed to come NOW to get the tire put on. I decided I will rather drive to St. Louis farther away rather than return to Newbold which is closer.

Appointment was at 1:30pm and the car was not ready until almost 3:30. Customers time is as valuable as your company’s time. Also, I had to go there since I wanted to have a quick oul change so I went to Valvoline where they could not perform it due to the last time that I was at your shop they tightened the filter gauge too much and they could not open it, after telling them that and not believing me I also had to pay extra for that. I left the receipt from Valvoline in there showing that I did NOT get an oil change there. My biggest upset is the amount of time spent there for something that can be done somewhere else if you guys do it right.

Aside from the lack of communication as to when my vehicle would be complete, I am disappointed that an organizer attached to the back of my front passenger seat was removed and simply tossed in the back of the car with zero regard, obviously not put back. I am also questioning if the additional service I requested, an oil change and tire rotation, was completed. Upon turning on my vehicle I am still reminded that my vehicle needs maintenance. While I realize I did not purchase my vehicle from Newbold, I have used Newbold to service my vehicle since I purchased. According to the text message I received, my vehicle will need roughly $1,000 of service in the near future. My confidence in Newbold performing these services is low.
