I have a brand new 2025 Seinna under 1000 miles, and Saturday 4/12/25 I could not close sliding door on drivers side, it was very frustrating. Today i brought it in and I was told the tracks needed lubricated. I do not believe that that is why the door would not close. So I am worried this will happen to me again.

While the service guy seemed nice.. I’m VERY UNHAPPY that the technician working on my vehicle stated “my serpentine belt looked worn and needed to be replaced” knowing that was a COMPLETE LIE I refused!!! When I confronted him about the LIE I was told the technician “missed that it had already been replaced 1 1/2 years ago when the water pump was replaced at the 100,000 mile service at a different dealership”.. what I did learn was that Toyota keeps a data base of repairs/services on all the Toyota vehicles…. So NO I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT be returning to Ken Ganley for any further service needed on my vehicle!! Honestly how can I be sure what I asked to be done was actually done? While I really like my vehicle dealing with a Toyota dealership has been the worst experience and I have yet to find one that I’m comfortable with…. This happens to be the 5th dealership in 1 year I have dealt with and have been MORE than DISAPPOINTED with!!! And while I explained some of my recent BAD experiences at 2 of the other dealerships to the service guy I dealt with he did try to do his best to make this appt better but suggesting I needed something replaced that was just done has left a VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH and I will NOT be back!!! I came to Ken Ganley even tho it was my last choice as I had a very bad experience at a Ganley Chevrolet dealership years ago as a child with my parent and have refused to step foot in one ever since but today I tried and again was less than thrilled with the experience!!!! I sum it up to this.. while the appt seemed quick due to there being no one else waiting, was the reason no one else was waiting because of what I had just experienced, suggesting work that doesn’t need completed? Meaning people choose to go elsewhere for their vehicle service? Or was a noon appt not very popular? Oh and like this review you can read all the other ones relating to the other dealerships on Toyotas complaint website, where I will be posting what I just wrote here….
