The person offered a "complimentary vehicle" if we could drop ours off for recall notice. Then when my daughter got there they demanded a credit card in her name to give her a car!! And when she called me and I spoke to the guy and said we were not renting a vehicle, we were offered a loaner, he rudely informed me no one would use that word, loaner, it was a complimentary loaner and they needed a credit card! Rude! Or Is he that stupid that he never heard the term that’s been used for many decades! NO ONE said to me on the "rental" when I made the appointment, NO ONE said credit card! We don’t use credit cards, how dare you assume a customer would be carrying one when all she went in for was recall, spending her own time and energy and gas to fix something TOYOTA screwed up! I’ve been doing business with Handy's for 50 years and bought TEN vehicles there. A few months ago we tried to buy a 2017 RAV-4 from the Williston Rd store, and when we took it to our mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection he took one minute to say no way, showed us it was all rusted and corroded and filthy, caked mud and rust an inch thick underneath, even drive shaft corroded, would need replacing very very soon. Shame on you! I’ve shopped Handy's and sent people to Handy's all this time, and now you’re just another dealer.
