I will NEVER, come back to your dealership service department. I have dealt with them for the last time. Ever since it was North Hills Toyota you overly stink at customer service. My experience with your dealership dates back to 2009 when I bought my first Tacoma from the then North Hills Toyota, I came back and bought a 2012 Tacoma and I won’t even get into the disaster of deal when I bought a 2014 Tacoma that I’m actually shocked the sales rep still works for you now that your Jim Shorkey. Nothing but disaster after disaster. So I purposely went to the Brewer dealership to buy my 2022 Tacoma and had nothing but praise for how respectful those sales reps are so much so that I bought the 2024 RAV4 there for my wife. I took both of those through their 24,000 mile Toyota care maintenance to them for service as well as inspections. I came back to you guys for an oil change that I thought was out of the range of the free Toyota care ones since your closer when I was told by that advisor that he was able to look into “the system” that I in fact was still due one more free oil change. Also that I could come to Jim Shorkey for all my inspections instead of having to go to Brewer Toyota… Which is why I scheduled the inspection with you this year. So comes to today: I was told that my wife’s vehicle state inspection on her RAV4 would be free with the emissions inspection. To be then almost dupped into paying it when he said well the vehicle was not bought at Jim Shorkey. But yet when I was in, in the spring for an oil change on it I was assured by a different person that it would be free when I came for the inspection and that I wouldn’t have to go to Brewer Toyota to have it done since your shop is closer to me. There’s nothing you could call me and talk to me about to rectify the arrogance of what this gentleman said to me today and was quite appalled, that I dealt with today. I will not be back. I will just go to Brewer, which has actual friendly service technicians and not disgruntled ones like this guy was.

I had no intentions of coming back Sorkey after this inspection the reason why last year and the box probably three months ago I was in just for the free check up last year. I was told that I needed a brand new tire. There was a puncture on it, and it was not fixable Not true. I took it to my mechanic and it’s still running very good today. The second issue was when the last time I was in there, the girl told me my tires would not last through the winter and as you can see from the report, they’re fine just because I’m a woman and I’m of age. I don’t expect to be treated like a stupid fool. My confidence has been restored. Hope to see you next year and maybe you’ll get the same report.

I have always had a great experience at Jim Shorkey Toyota service center in the North Hills. I just told my wife I will continue to buy Toyota not just for the quality vehicle but for the professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy experience at the Service Center.
