Mason was very warm and customer service oriented . I went in with a flat and he quickly inspected all of my tires and informed me that he could see that the vehicle had not been driven in a while because all the tires are “cracky” (not the term he used but they need to change) . He provided me with all the necessary information re:pricing etc. & informed me that though they don’t have to be changed immediately, I should consider doing it soon. Also, I did not have an appointment but he treated me just as well as if I did.

Mr. Didio was fantastic. He not only facilitated the solution to my immediate problem but also informed me of other problems the technicians had found. I was always alerted to the estimate costs. I agreed to the most urgent ones. I could not afford to have the front and rear struts replaced on this visit. "Joe" did not give me the hard sell about the struts, but I said I would have the work done on my next visit. He said that would be OK. I don't respond to a hard sell. I really felt Mr. Didio understood me. He is very personable in a sincere way and very efficient and professional. I am an old dude and felt Toyota was looking out for me through Joe Didio. I was told that she was my battery so I bought a new battery only to continue having the exact same issue. Most recently, I was told the issue is my key fob, and that I would need a new key fob to be programmed to the car. I was told that the car light is still going to be showing the key symbol because my car is a crossbreed between a Toyota and a Mazda and the only way to clear the car light is to program a second key for double the price which is over $1000. I felt it would be absolutely insane to pay that price and was told that it’s OK I wouldn’t need to pay for a second key fob because the one new key fob has been programmed and the car has been starting flawlessly every time for the past few days since the reprogram. I left with my car driving without issues only to start it up the next day, and it started after a few seconds of struggling. The following day, which is today, May 8, 2025, my car struggled to start for about 15 seconds and then finally started. Prior to my experience at the Wesley Chapel location. I took my car to the Fletcher Ave., Toyota where I had to visit three different times and paid $2200 only to have everything done but the main issue. I was told it was the spark plugs and several other things however, that was not the case. I now need to take my car back to the Wesley Chapel location once more because although Lisa told me it was starting flawlessly that is not the experience that I had today. Lisa was communicative while Joe was out and I appreciated that, but Joseph Knips was not very communicative. He continuously left me hanging with several hours without giving any updates while I was sitting in the shop after telling me it would only take about an hour he forgot to text me to tell me to hold onto the rental And several days went by with no update, even though I called and spoke to another representative who transferred me to Joseph’s line. I was not informed by Lisa that Joe had went out of town and she was filling in for him. I am very upset that I will have to take my car back again because till this day I have spent over $3000 for the issue of my car struggling to start and it still has not been completely fixed. I do not want to spend any more money on this issue because I have lost faith in Toyota’s ability to fix my car. I have been a loyal customer with Toyota for seven years and have never had such an experience.
