Jose was amazing and his customer service was phenomenal. Even offered to get my car washed and it came back so clean. Very amazed how beyond he made me feel and so glad that he is my service advisor. I’ll definitely be back to see him again for my next oil change. ????

Mckinley was great and I’d be happy to work with him again. He was really personable, efficient, nice, communicated well. Good guy. In fact my experience with him helped me be more likely to come back again when I’ve been hesitant to keep coming back because I haven’t like Toyota Escondido as much as Mission Bay where I used to go.
Having nothing to do with Mckinley, and going back to include previous service, I’ve been disappointed that Toyota Escondido doesn’t seem to have my service records from Toyota Mission Bay where I used to go for service for many years. During one of my first couple visits it was recommended to me to do a coolant change when I’d just recently done that service at Mission Bay. I had to call Mission Bay myself and confirm that I had done the service very recently. If I wasn’t paying attention I’d have wasted hundreds of dollars or whatever it costs. The service person told me that they could see the history and there was no recent coolant change. I then had to call myself and confirm. Frustrating and creates distrust. Maybe it’s a systems issue but it leads to a bad customer experience.
I also had a coupon that I forgot to apply when I checked out because I was in a rush but that was just my own fault.
Lastly I’ll say this. I’ve gotten text messages from Toyota Escondido asking me feedback and if I’d like to schedule service, replied to the texts, and gotten to respond. These tests had a name of a person I think and asked me to respond. Then no response. Comes across as strange, creepy, a little rude.
