I was pleased with Jesseica‘s service. She was very polite, kind and understanding.
An oil change should not cost almost $80, but understand the economy is driving some of that. A coupon would have been a help with the economy.
Up selling with the enormous list of urgent needs was not as extensive as normal, but still there. This behavior has made me skeptical and dread a simple oil change. I still use your services to keep a local dealership and proximity.
The tech video was a much more powerful approach vs someone coming out to the waiting area to discuss the list of urgent needs.

With over 260k miles on my vehicle, I’ve had minimal problems. It’s been reliable with low maintenance. I am searching for a new vehicle with these experiences factoring into my criteria.

I received an automated text message with a link to pay my balance for today, but it was hundreds of dollars less than what I Had had been quoted. Your technology needs to have some kinks worked out
I have never had any problems at Toyota Gastonia and all staff have always been professional and very knowledgeable as well as fruendly.
The service was completely satisfactory. Wanted an additional key after my primary key was found.
Well between my 22 and 23 tundras your team has been less than stellar.
1. 22 had a bad mirror that I had to come back three times to get replaced. I asked for a replacement after the first time it was “tightened” and by the third time you finally replaced it.
2. Brought my 23 in for Creaky DS seat, rattle in PS front door panel, and maintenance. You said to bring the truck back for further evaluation and possibly put more foam in the seat but no TSB or recall. You also said to bring it back for the body shop to investigate the rattle in the door panel which was after breaking a door clip which you didn’t have in stock and I’d have to come back to replace. After you broke the clip and didn’t fix anything come to find out the mood lighting connector wasn’t hooked back up.
3. Finally got time out of my busy travel schedule to bring the truck back in for some of items in above #2. I decided to document this with your useless online appointment so o can put these issues in my own words instead of relying on your service advisers. After arriving for my appointment no one greeted me in your bay and waited for an employee to come out and take my keys and info, the service advisor started asking me questions and I told him I made an appointment online and already explained this as he just kept tapping his tablet which I would thought this would already be in your system and in on the tablet. Oh welll kept explaining and then dropped the truck off. Your service advisor didn’t know the correct name for the “mood” lighting Whig I had to repeat myself three times as he kept asking me if I meant “moon” lighting. No, it’s mood as that’s literally what’s stated on the button in the truck.
4. Same day got a call asking for the lug nut key and I didn’t not respond as they were the last one to use it and it would have been placed where they last put it. I guess they found it since I never heard back and the truck was finished promptly the next morning which I immediately knew you didn’t fix anything other than the broke clip and mood lighting. Different service advisor explained to me in a positive tone my truck was done and ready after explaining everything except the rattle and the seat creaking. Even though I was told to drop it off so the body shop would have time and well low and behold they didn’t even bother with it since some excuse Amit different entities and appt only…seat is still breaking and panel is still rattling and I didn’t even mention the rattle in the headliner above the DS seat. The creaky seat is the worst as it’s quite loud and I should have a $62k truck with 16k miles doing that. The device adviser told me they compared to other tundras and that may be but they didn’t compare to a platinum. I had a 22 limited and that seat was fine up until I traded it in to you at 30k miles. This is unacceptable and I know other dealers have added foam and other things to stop this.
So no I’m not pleased but not much choice and really don’t know what the point of a warranty is if you are just go in g come up with excuses not to fix anything. These are not subtle whiny things. I hear them and can prove them and you don’t listen to your customer.
The last several times I have had service at Toyota, there have been issues of being told “ everything is complete “ when in fact is was not . After each service I now have to check my tires to see if they have been inflated properly, make sure my fluids have been filled . Now I find that my oil was not completely filled . This lack of attention to detail is definitely disturbing and very disappointing . I have been a loyal customer for years and feel the service has been lacking. I question my sanity at continuing to come there for service.
