I love your service but, After arranging for an appointment, I didn’t think it would take an hour to rotate my tires. I’ve gone in without an appointment and waited that long so I thought this would be quicker…it wasn’t. Other than that, I wish you would stop looking for things I should fix or replace just because the car is at 100,000 miles when they are working just fine.
Please don’t call.

Very good service and professional
I was not satisfied with the attention that was given to my problem. When I made the appointment I asked that the vehicle be serviced and the rear gate be checked because it had started not opening on a consistent basis. The technician who checked me in made a comment about the noise of one of the cylinders and then asked about a couple of scratches on the gate that were caused by my vehicle being too close to my garage door when I closed the garage door. When I checked out no mentioned about thedoor and I asked if it was fixed. The cashier read the message on ticket to me which said I had to go to body shop to get estimate for realigning door because of damage to the door. At that point the service representative came up and confirmed that I had to go to body shop. I asked who I could talk with about this situation and he stated “the body shop” and walked away. Needless to say I was upset and did not appreciate the lack of attention for explaining why someone had determined the gate had been damaged without any further explanation. Furthermore, I was charged $19.99 for something which I had reported and had no reason to believe anyone had done any follow up on my problem. As directed, I went to the body shop and talked with Mark Oates. He inspected the door and did indicate that it appeared to be out of alignment; however, he also suggested that there was no way the scratches on the plastic gate panels would have caused the door to be out of alignment. He very graciously agreed to realign the door as a customer courtesy next week and if that did not resolved the issue then I would need to return the vehicle to the service department for further evaluation.
When I purchased the van I paid for en extended warranty that covered situations like this. My disappointment in the service department is that they wanted to blame me for damaging the gate and just passed me off to someone else. I have always had service on my vans and my daughters van at the dealership and this by far was my worse experience. I would have hoped the dealership would look at service as a full vehicle service rather than trying to avoid assisting the customer and just passing them off to someone else. I purchased the van at the dealership; however, when time comes for the next purchase I will give serious consideration to going elsewhere. I will take the van back to Mr Oates next week and hopefully I will be able to avoid having to return to the service department. Finally, as I looked over my invoice I noticed a charge for tire rotation. It has always been my understanding that if you purchased the tires from the dealership then rotation was provided at no charge. If my understanding is incorrect please advise.
