Sadly, I won’t be coming back to Cardinale Hyundai of Glendora. I had always trusted them in the past. Their kindness and smiles are 5 star. I recently had an horid experience. I dropped $1514 + 3% cc fee for top tier 60,000 recommended service and four days later another $197 + 3% cc fee for a new battery, a total of $1720 in four days. They took $100 off my bill because I have the prepaid oil changes, tire rotation, etc., which is normally $230. So it would have been $1820. I called the dealership (Ontario Hyundai) where we purchased car new 5 years ago after I left the dealership . Come to find out, they DO inspect the battery health when they perform the 60,000 service, and the fee was half the price for the top tier, plus provide a curtesy car for anything over $299. In a nutshell, I paid for first service and four days later my battery died, after telling me everything looked great with their 5 star smiles. It was completely drained. Had it towed and a new battery installed the next day, but I did not have to pay the labor. Big of them. No offer of a courtesy car, just a rental that I would have to pay if it was not their fault. They’re telling me they don’t check the health of battery because it takes 30 mins when they had the car the entire day. No one seems to care or admit any fault in that they handed me my car with a battery in poor health after paying for this complete service that is suppose to check all this. No one in the service department would look at me in the eyes or greet me per the usual everytime I would go in. In short I do not think their service is honest or competent. Everything I thought of them and their service has been completely erased. I feel like a fool for being taken advantage of. I do not recommend their service department after this experience.

The mechanics should double check their work, they forgot to tighten mi car’s lug nuts and the wheels were making a clunky noise. I immediately returned the car after driving half a block
