Saul was very helpful! Happy my service only took about an hour to get done even without an appointment on a Monday morning. A little disappointed that an oil change costs over $100 and you don’t even get a car wash anymore. Otherwise experience was good.

The dealership had my car for a month and a half. I got it back with multiple areas with no paint. Some are small, but still enough for water to seep in and delaminate the paint. Over spray in the cracks of my windows, chemical fading on 3 different sections of the exterior plastic trim where someone used a solvent to remove residue. The section where my roof meets the back of my car, the paint doesn't reach all the way in. There are grease marks on the interior handle of my door, and multiple spots where a very aggressive tape reside remains. To say I was satisfied, would be a lie. In the end, I was told Hyundai's warranty was considered satisfied by the dealership. I don't know anyone who would be satisfied with this work. If the body shop just needed more time to deliver better work, why wasn't I told when I was asking when the repairs would be done? I fear additional time in that shop would mean more adhesive residue and more faded trim pieces. Just how committed to my complete satisfaction are you? I wonder if other people with more expensive cars received better service than my Sonata. The first paint damage to the roof of my car happened at Hyundai after an oil change and complimentary car wash about 4 years ago. My pictures of the incident fell on deaf ears. I would like the damaged trim pieces replaced, and the missing paint sections addresses, but not at the same body shop. I have always been a faithful owner of Hyundai for the last 24 years. Those sentiments are fading fast.

Check in was great. Quote was quickly done. Repair cost is very high, even if justified given the labor involved to do the job. However, the fix isn’t really a fix because the same parts are installed and the problem is likely to reoccur. Check out (different advisor) was cold and lacking empathy. I couldn’t establish a rapport to express my opinion. Finally, as much as I understand I signed a paper agreeing to pay the $299 diagnostic flat fee, checking the problem takes 10s to a technician who knows where to look. The hoses are visibles when opening the hood. I feel I should have been granted a reduction of the fee as the vehicle never went on a lift, no parts were removed, no diagnostic electronic tool was used. Again the checkout advisor was totally shut to any discussion. I felt I was kicked out of the dealership after being abused financially. Not a good vibe. Frankly it’s a deal killer. I would recommend training to that advisor or limiting customer facing tasks. Thank you for collecting this feedback. I hope it helps. I’ve had many good experiences at this store and I’m on 8th Hyundai (I work for Hyundai too, on the vehicle engineering side). Have a great day. Jerome.
