I was told it would take an hour when I checked in - it took over 2 - I understand wait times and sometimes it is hard to judge but my service visit prior to this one took over 3 hours when I was told 1 to 1 1/2 hours

It makes so much more sense to have 1st come, 1st served at the Quick Lube party of Smart Motors service dept. It was a pain going early in the morning to get an appt later in the day. I like this change very much.

I made an appointment for a recall check. Decided to add an oil change while I was at it. I was NOT told the recall issue had no solution yet -nor was I told an oil change (with appointment ) would take 2 hours. I should have been told. Arrived at 10:10 for a 10:30 appointment and didn’t get out until 12:30. Like most people I have better things to do than sit in your waiting area.
I understand when you don't have a appointment it's a first come, first serve at the express. When I got there I was told looking at little over an hour wait. Not big deal told service advisor had books and was going to be waiting. So at an hour and my car hasn't moved from where I parked it. No big deal was hoping to hear something. After 2 hours my car finally moved to get into line. Again I understand first come first serve. Close to three hours and now it's noon and my car was moved out front done. So I waited didn't hear anything after ten minutes waiting for my name. At that point just went counter annoyed wanted my keys. Again I understand your busy and it is what it is but I was told an little over an hour not three but if someone would have updated me that it wasn't going be an hour give me the choice to keep waiting or come back. Better line of communication would be great.
