After returning home, I received an update with my multi-point inspection results with an estimated cost of 990.59 to mount and balance 4 tires. While two of the tries are showing a tread depth of 3 and apparently need to be replaced (less than 35,000 miles on them), the other two tires have tread depths that don’t indicate replacement (the rr tire has a tread depth of 9). I also see that I’ve been charged a 9.48 service fee. What’s that about?

Steve was cool. The service was very slow. Also, my tires were rotated and now my steering wheel is off center. Also, my tires were all inflated to 40 psi. That is the maximum before danger and the recommended pressure for my Camry is 35. Big miss on both of those instances.

I am working on a tight budget and I called before booking an appointment for brakes. I was quoted pricing over the phone, I was aligned to that so I scheduled service. Then when the truck was in service, discovered I apparently needed front rotors too, so I asked about pricing for that and it was also suggested that I get brake fluid replacement so added those two on. And during the call speaking with Beth, she quoted $1000 plus tax. So I specifically asked about it being roughly $1,100 after tax and was told yes. When I came to pick up the truck I was asked to pay $1260. So it was frustrating to be surprised with additional fees I wasn't told about before agreeing to the work. I also do not agree with the $49 MISC fees when I paid for all the parts, all the hours of labor and taxes. Having pricing transparency is important to customers and shows integrity. Not having transparency causes frustration and loss of business. I am considering changing where I take my truck for service in the future due to these and other issues I have experienced servicing my Toyota Tundra pickup truck at Lewis Toyota in Topeka Kansas.

Arrived for oil change without apoointment and Steve cheerfully said he would fit me in and should be done within 2 hours. Was out in less than hour, with a free inspection report in texr link and Steve let me know when ready and walked me through a concern, but didn't push me to fix right away, and said she be ok and would schedule it next tine and have technician take a indepth look at it. The waiting room was comfortable with complentary water and coffee as well as a muted TV with sports updates.
