I called to schedule a service of a new to us Toyota 2018 Tacoma purchased out of state, to have it serviced, and to get a second key made. When I made the appointment the person scheduling said she would check if the key was in stock that needed made or if it needed ordered. If it needed ordered she would call me back and reschedule so the key was in so it could be made when I brought the vehicle in for service. I brought the vehicle in Thursday morning at 7:30am. I had planned to wait on it. It did not get done until after 12:30pm and when I went to check out, I was informed the key had to be ordered, so it still had not been made. I informed the service lady, I was unhappy with the poor communication as I now would have to bring it back in for the key to be made. I explained that I was told if that was going to happened they were going to call me back and reschedule so I did not have to make two trips. She did apologize and said they have had several problems with Jodi the scheduling person. This was not helpful to me at all. I was told the key making should only take about 30 minutes. Today, the appointment took two hours. There needs to be much work on, communication, professionalism and timeliness completing service!

When there are no complications with the work mentioned in the estimate given ahead I don’t understand the reason for extra labor charges. Steve didn’t understand the extra charge and thought maybe the estimate didn’t include tax. Looking at the estimate after coming home the tax was included. I think the extra labor charge was a pretty large under estimate on the original quote.

came in for my 10,000 mile maintenance and was there for 2 hours. my car is still telling me to check the oil and my belt is still squeaking. so not really happy that after 2 hours i need to come back.

Scott was great, no issue with him. I received a report with battery corrosion. I drive a hybrid so the battery is in the trunk. My trunk was full making it obvious that the battery had not been inspected. I would have paid 60 dollars more if I hadn’t asked.

Ever since we have purchased the vehicle from Lewis Toyota, it is always something that leaves us a little discouraged. Yet we still bring our vehicle back for normal services but then something else happens. Today, we got brand new tires and as soon as I left the lot, the low pressure tire light was on. We drive from Junction City for these services so I drove home to see if the pressures would stabilize and they did not. The lowest was 26PSI and the highest was 39psi. When my wife came in to get services a few weeks ago, they gave her three quotes for three different tire sets. When she called to set up the appointment, the gentleman was rude to her and said they would have to order it. She called back another day and the gentleman she spoke with then was “we do have those tires in stock”. Not upset, just discouraging is all.

I had an appointment at 11:30 for a simple 55,000 mile service. It was 2:45 before my service was completed and no additional service was rendered. In addition, when I went to pay, I was told the total was over $100, for a service listed at $63.25 on line. I appreciate the charges being waived due to the length of my wait, but this was the third time out of my last 4 visits where simple services took more than 2 hours. I suggest Lewis revamp their scheduling to better compensate for changing conditions. Scheduled customers should not be delayed due to walk-ins, jobs taking additional time, or employees not attending work. Due to your poor handling of this repeated scheduling issue, I will be considering taking the service for my two vehicles elsewhere. Thanks.

Neither is a huge deal. My service needed light didn’t get reset and I got charged for my tire rotation
