Josh was quick, efficient, professional and displayed a great sense of humor. Having him as my service CSR today was a genuine pleasure.
I wanted my wipers replaced. All 3 because last time I had a service they said they needed it The fronts weren’t too bad but the back is falling apart. Well I thought $42 wasn’t bad for 3. On the way home I found out the rear wasn’t replaced. Now I think $42 for 2 is a little high and why wasn’t the back replaced considering what it looked like. Now I question the whole inspection.

One of my hubcaps is missing fron tire rotation.
I hate to complain but they got grease in my seat and on my door panel. Other than that, great service.

My truck has been getting serviced here since it was purchased back in 2016. Today I was recommended a transmission flush along with a 4x4 drive line and differential flush on top of my oil change for an estimate of $1400. Had my truck needed these services done it wouldn’t have been an issue but these flushes had been completed on my truck less than 10k miles prior. Luckily I remembered this and was able to bring it to the attention of the service writer and he was able to update my records. This isn’t the first time services have been recommended to be done prematurely. This type of problem causes trust issues between the customer and service department especially with maintenance costs on vehicles climbing these days. The technician should be cross referencing the service history with the service writer to ensure service intervals are correct and not just recommending services based on what the service manual recommended. I understand how vehicle service history works because I am a mechanic myself in the motorcycle industry and know how important it is to keep up with maintenance on vehicle. I am able to service my vehicle myself but due to time constraints and how much I commute I bring my vehicle to Cherokee Toyota because I trust the job is going to be done correctly and my vehicles are going to be cared for the way I would myself. I don’t trust my wife to bring her vehicle to the shop alone because of issues like this I have had in the past where services were suggested before they needed to be completed. I hope going forward this may help the communication breakdown that can occur between a tech and the services writers. I know flat rate technicians want to get as many hours as they can per vehicle but not at the expense of losing trust with customers.
